Should the federal government dedicate more money to gang prevention?

    There are deeper issues to address. Throwing money at the problem isn’t going to solve it.

    I think we need to worry more about our infrastructure before we need to worry about gang violence.

    Yes, but more money should go to extra-curricular activities, not putting more cops on the street.

    If we keep kids busy with more after-school programs and sports, they get a sense of purpose, and they will stay out of gangs. That’s where the money should be going.

    If by gang prevention, you mean more police, then that’s just not enough. It hasn’t worked yet. We need another option.

    Yeah, definitely. Crime is a serious issue in the city, we need a better plan if we want anybody to live here.
