GOOD LOVELIES

Charming all of Canada in a package of three, the Good Lovelies are the missing link in Canadian folk music. With the release of their third disc, this trio has finally gained the spotlight they’ve been searching for. Arriving with smiles, stardom began with such upbeat tunes like Made for Rain and Kiss Me in the Kitchen and has since instilled its harmonic voice forever in our minds. The album has the theme of camaraderie and is perfectly suited to the band, which delivers 13 solid tunes throughout the disc. What the album lacks instrumentally, it more than makes up for in its piercing pitch perfect harmonies and catchy lyrics.
