Produced in a warehouse, Opportunities is Brasstronaut’s three-track teaser EP leading up to an LP due out later this year. These Canadian prog rockers leave nothing to the imagination with the experiment into the electroacoustic genre, and the album is nothing short of a success. Over three tunes, there’s an explosion of unprecedented sound and collaboration with the quasi-hit Opportunity and a remix by fellow label mates, No Gold. Fresh off an extensive tour of Europe, which they filmed, Brasstronaut wasted no time in getting back to the studio to put their new ideas into play. The Vancouver band will look to incorporate some of that experimental sound in the LP, and further remixes of the album are set to be released in October.
