Local comedians Bob Banks and Dewey Parker are combining two of Winnipeg's favourite summer pastimes—live entertainment and lounging on patios—with their new weekly outdoor comedy variety show, "Bob & Dewey's Summer Series." Through June and July, the duo will light up Thursday nights at X-Cues Cafe and Lounge, 551 Sargent Avenue, from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Each show in the Summer Series is a unique blend of stand-up, improv, musical performances, and interactive audience participation games, so Winnipeggers can catch an all-new show every week. This series is more than just a fun night out; it's an opportunity for the community to come together, share in the laughter, and support the revitalization of the West End.
