Looking for your feedback

Winnipeggers love to complain about our city - there’s a lack of downtown residences, unacceptable transit options and service, and way too many suburbs.

But what caused these problems? The construction of Portage Place? The closing of Portage and Main to pedestrians? Too many roads leading away from the downtown? The centennial redevelopment of City Hall, the Public Safety Building, the museum and concert hall? Or was it a combination of it all, or something else entirely?

I’d like your feedback for a story I’m writing. What design decisions have changed the way we live in Winnipeg? Feel free to post them below, or e-mail me at [email protected].
