Presidential candidate disqualified from UWSA election

Shimby Zegeye-Gebrehiwot has been disqualified from running for a position on the UWSA executive in the current election. Zegeye-Gebrehiwot was running for the position of president, but was disqualified due to a lack of completed credit hours. Candidates must have completed 30 credit hours to qualify for election. She is apparently appealing the decision.
The four other presidential candidates - Vassan Aruljothi, Jason Robillard, Brenden Sommerhalder and Jason Syviaxy - are still in the running. Voting takes place next week, from March 16 to 19.
