Jumping in a pool of icy cold water on the front lawn of the University of Winnipeg (U of W) has become an annual tradition for business students.

For four years, the JDC West business students have raised money for different charities. On Oct. 28, it collected more than $4,500 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada through the Chillin’ for Charity event.

It was a gloomy day in Winnipeg, but the die-hard participants’ energetic display still got lots of attention from passersby on Portage Avenue.
