Electric Soul

Local four piece Electric Soul brings you Second Paradise. Recorded in the pale months of a Winnipeg winter, these songs droop sad melodies and brittle vocals that reflect the dreary, no-light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel feeling that is January.  But don’t fret, Electric Soul will pick you up when you fall.  Upbeat, alt. jazz fusion jams round out this album, all while showcasing the band’s great use of heavy guitar solos and ambient keys.  They invited a few friends into the studio, making for some good backing vocals and a fun trumpet cameo, too.  Electric Soul is a band harnessing its own sound and Second Paradise is an honest, worthy, affirmation of that sound.
