Re: The summer of our disinterest

Are we to assume, from this writer’s painfully brief mention of the actions of the (NOT) “pitifully low number of protesters” at the G8/G20 summits, that he silently approves of senseless civil disobedience and incoherent, fruitless screaming? That’s the only reason I can think of for his glossing over that part of the story. I have no problem inquiring into possible police brutality and punishing it accordingly, but at least consider who started it.
