Climate Strike 2019 Keeley Braunstein-Black Staff photographer October 3, 2019 Manitoba's rally and march for the global climate strike took place on Friday, Sept. 27. The youth-led movement which spawned the strike has helped make climate action a key issue for the upcoming federal election. More than 10,000 people took place in the march and rally at the Manitoba Legislative Building. The strike was preceded by sign-making workshops and art builds to help protesters get their messages out.
