Webinar Wednesdays

In weekly sessions, Student Services staff will continue to share valuable strategies and tips to help you succeed at The Univeristy of Winnipeg. Sessions are held every Wednesday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. over Zoom and cover a wide variety of topics:

Winter Term

Lectures end for Winter Term courses on Tuesday, Apr. 6, except for courses which would have a class scheduled on Apr. 2 (Good Friday) - those courses have a make-up day on Apr. 7.  

Spring Term

Tiered registration for Spring Term continues until Thursday, Apr. 1. Open registration begins Monday, Apr. 5.

The Spring Term begins on Monday, May 3, with courses scheduled to start/end on various dates throughout the term. For details, please visit: Spring Term Registration Process.

Good Friday

The University will be closed on Friday, Apr. 2 for Good Friday.

Exams

The exam period is from Monday, Apr. 12 to Friday, Apr. 23. Please check the Exam Schedules for more information.

Convocation Awards

Nominations (including self-nominations) are now open for 2020-21 Convocation Awards! Graduates from October 2020, February 2021, and the upcoming convocation June 2021 are eligible for these awards, which are administered by the Awards and Financial Aid Office and selected by a committee. The deadline to submit is Thursday, Apr. 15.

Grades

Grades for Winter and Fall/Winter term classes will be posted on WebAdvisor tentatively on Wednesday, May 18. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, students will have the option to choose how their grades will appear on their transcript and affect their grade point average. Students must meet with an academic advisor before they can submit a request for alternate grading. The deadline to see an advisor and submit your form is Friday, May 28.
