Submissions

The Uniter accepts submissions from volunteer writers. We reserve the right to edit for style, content, and length. The Uniter reserves the right to refuse to print submitted material. The Uniter will not print material that is misogynistic, racist, homophobic, or libelous. Articles must be submitted in .rtf or .doc format. No handwritten submissions will be accepted.

Deadlines

The Uniter comes out every Thursday during the school year with the exception of Christmas break and Reading Week. We print 25 issues a year.

Please direct submissions to the appropriate section editor.

General deadlines for Uniter section editors are Fridays at 6:00 p.m. Please arrange specific deadlines with section editors.

Listings

For Listings, you must submit your listing to the Listings Co-ordinator eight days before you want your listing to appear in the paper. Listings must not be more than 100 words. They will be edited for length. Listings are a free service of The Uniter. Please email listings@uniter.ca

Letters to the Editor

Uniter readers are encouraged to write letters to the editor. Please email them directly to the Managing Editor by the Monday before the publication date, if you wish to see it in the Thursday issue.
