The Dean’s Lecture Series 2018-2019 presents Smart Transportation: Travelling into the Future and Picking up Steam on May 14 from 12:15 to 1:30 pm in the Carol Shields Auditorium of the Millennium Library, 251 Donald St.

We’ll look at how Winnipeg’s Smart Transportation Evolution and Advanced Mobility (STEAM) initiatives can move our community forward and make our lives better. With infrastructure renewal and expansion, new neighbourhoods, emergency service requirements, public transit, bike paths, and more, there are many aspects to optimizing our transportation plans for the future.

Featuring speakers from the City of Winnipeg, Asper School of Business at the U of M/Transport Institute, and Number TEN Architectural Group. Presented by Extended Education at the University of Manitoba.
