Grands ‘n’ More Winnipeg is hosting the third annual art sale, Art From the Attic, on Sunday, September 24 from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm at Norwood Community Centre at 87 Walmer Street, off Lyndale Drive off St. Mary's Road. More than 2000 prints, paintings, drawings, framed fabric art, and more have been donated by Manitobans and will be on sale on September 24. Price range from $5 to several hundred dollars, with the largest portion of items below $50.
Grands ‘n’ More Winnipeg is a non-profit group of local grandmothers and community members who support African grandmothers caring for their grandchildren who have lost their parents to AIDS. All proceeds go to the Grandmothers-to-Grandmothers’ Campaign at the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
