WINNIPEG, MB - The North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC), in partnership with Aboriginal Music Week, North End non-profit organizations and our many sponsors, is pleased to announce the 19th annual Picnic in the Park.

 

The Picnic in the Park is a free community event that started in 1999 and now has a growing number of 4,000 community members attending. Picnic celebrates the cultural diversity of the North End and aims to present a positive image of the community.

 

For this year’s entertainment, we welcome the BURNT – Project 1, Double The Trouble, Graffiti Art Programming, and Nic Nieves. The community will also indulge in Bannock Tacos for the first time, finally saying goodbye to hot dogs! Games, prizes, children activities and organization information booths. First one thousand people will get a free Ikea feast bag. Rain or shine 2017 Picnic in The Park is:

NECRC is committed to the social, economic and cultural renewal of the North End of Winnipeg.
