About the Show:

"Although colour has been closely tied to emotion, what interests me is to play with the tension of line and colour to arrive at an abstract idea.  This show is about the understanding of truth, whether mundane or worldly. 

On this pale blue dot, humanity is important because we dominate the planet. Beyond our planet we are expendable. On a cosmic scale, planet or star, it all continues to evolve.

Subjects are eclectic, usually interpreted in abstract expressionism, and informed by research, social contact, attending workshops, exhibiting, and delivering art history lectures. I am a member of Charleswood Art Group & Local Colour Art Group. As an elected member of the Manitoba Society of Artists, I serve as President, and organize their art history conferences, and for 6 years have chaired Manitoba's Open Juried Competition and Exhibition. I also enjoy serving as a Docent for the Winnipeg Art Gallery."
