NOTE: This is a required course for DGC membership! It was formerly known as "Flagsperson Training." 

About the Workshop
This course will familiarize participants with the provincial laws governing traffic control. Traffic Awareness deals with the understanding of who is responsible for establishing traffic control on a film set, the duties regarding flagging on set, the dress and proper equipment necessary for proper flagging, and the proper techniques for directing traffic.
 
Topics will include
·       Legislation and guidance documents put out by the Manitoba Transportation and Government Services
·       Traffic control protocol
·       Characteristics of motorists
·       Flagging practices and procedures
 
Who should take this course
·       Those applying for permit or membership status with DGC Manitoba
·       Those interested in working in the Locations Department in Manitoba
