Britney Kornel’s “Eat Me Alive” at The Edge Gallery

"Eat Me Alive" is the first solo exhibition by Britney Kornel. Britney Kornel is a Canadian artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her work focuses on the human body and its relationship to food, creating a surreal and unsettling realm by illustrating our food consumption as a parallel to the way we consume our self-image and the human body. She strives to challenge traditional portrayals of the human body by deconstructing and desexualizing it in a way that shows truth, rather than accepting the influences and dishonesty of the media. Come join us to kick off "Eat Me Alive", April 7th, 7pm-10pm at the Edge Gallery on Main St., as part of First Fridays in the Exchange!  Free admission and snacks!
